I was born and raised a Hermantown boy and continue to be one with my wife and two kids. I attended St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN where I earned degrees in Computer Science and Environmental Studies.
I have been in the business-to-business consulting, sales, implementation, support, and vendor management for communications services in the Northern MN, and Northwest WI area for nearly 20 years.
I started out with seven years growing and managing a small business-to-business Wireless ISP called Superior Broadband. This experience taught me about customer service, the power of a referral, and how to deliver on my commitments to clients.
In 2007, Superior Broadband was sold to a regional technology powerhouse called Compudyne. I spent seven years there where I migrated from managing the ISP primarily into a consulting, sales, and sales engineering role. Those years taught me the importance of maintaining integrity and always advocating my client’s best interests. I learned a new respect for thoroughly understanding how my client’s businesses profited and were successful in their field. Without understanding that, I couldn’t hardly advise them on the technology that could make their processes more efficient.
In 2014 I started in direct sales for Enventis (now Consolidated Communications). They formerly were the only real fiber carrier in the region (having started long before as MP Telecom, and CP Internet) and were an essential vendor to my previous employers. I found them to unfallably provide the very best customer experience by being reliable, responsive, and bourne of the world of critical infrastructure. They made representing their services easy. Delivering a positive experience to my clients has always been my hallmark.
Today I am an independent communications agent. I help my customers (whom I normally meet via referral) analyze their communications, credit card processing, and general technical needs. I then show them what available options exist in the market and help them choose the best solution for their needs and make sure the implementation of each piece of the client’s technology puzzle works together with the rest, including their staff. Through time spent understanding your needs, rather than just throwing a product in your lap, I help you leverage the benefits of the technology.
